Risiera di San Sabba

Risiera di San Sabba was rebuilt in 1913 and was used as a rice-husking facility. During WWII, the facility was converted to a concentration camp for political prisoners and Jews.

Today, this 5-storey historic building serves as a museum to recount what happened inside during the war. The letters of the prisoners, their testimonies and other exhibits keep this piece of history alive so that future generations can get to know it.
