ΗPiazza Unità (Piazza Unità D 'Italia) is one of the largest squares in Europe (12,280 sq.m.) overlooking the sea, right at the heart of Trieste.

Since 1780 there have been seven buildings-ornaments around the square, which are major works of architects of the era and currently house various public services. Stratti, Model, Pitteri, Vanoli, Lloyd Palaces and the palace of the Austrian lieutenants, together with the Town Hall, cause the admiration of all passers-by, mainly at night. At that time Unita Square is flooded with the lights of its imposing buildings which are reflected in the water, creating an idyllic landscape, reminiscent of Vienna.

Just magic...
