The most famous fishing village of the Cyclades, the enchanting Naoussa is situated on the northern part of the island. It attracts a large number of visitors each year, because of its Cycladic beauty and also because of the variety of choices it offers when it comes to entertainment.

Its half-submerged Venetian castle (Kasteli) dominates the harbour, while its marina accommodates various kinds of vessels, from fishing boats to big sailing boats.
A walk in its busy narrow streets will take you to the picturesque central square where you can catch your breath before continuing your walk towards the imposing church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, from where you’ll be able to enjoy the view of Naoussa from above.

Moreover the Environmental and Cultural Park of Paros is located near Naoussa, a park worth paying a visit, while the neighbouring beaches of Piperi, Piperaki, Santa Maria and Lageri are ideal in case you want to enjoy your dive.

Finally, if you happen to be in Naoussa on summer,   don’t miss the annual Fish Festival at the beginning of July, the fair that takes place nine days after the Assumption and the revelry during the celebration of the traditional «Pirate Night» on the 23rd of August.
